Was staying at the caravan park across the way, went to the lamppost cafe twice for breakfast, excellent service, and the breakfast was one of the best I have had will definitely return
Delicious breakfast at this lovely place. Very friendly and good local quality products to eat. Recommend it and great if you are staying at the Caravan park next door.
One of the main reasons to keep coming back to Burrs Country Park is this little gem of a spot. The food is always spot on, the atmosphere is amazing and the staff are so friendly.
Went for our breakfast today first time, this place is amazing, eggs on toast was spot on, beans on toast perfect nice big pot of tea. Lovely and cosy and dog friendly. Blankets and water supplied for dogs and a lovely open fire.
Visited twice today, had a lovely hot chocolate and hubby had a cappuccino this morning and sat outside. We then went back for lunch and I had a really tasty soup, nice and hot too! Hubby had the Italian ciabatta, both were really nice. If I had to pick a fault I would just say a bigger portion of bread would be a good idea as you get a really big portion of soup! We sat inside with our dog, service was really good, lovely polite staff and a nice atmosphere. We might even go for breakfast tomorrow.
Lovely place, nice staff and delicious good. Great for sitting outside (if the weather's nice! and walks. Dogs are allowed in the cafe but with restrictions.
